Investigating entrepreneurship levels of pre-service music teachers

The aim of this study was to examine the entrepreneurship levels Pre-Service Music Teachers (Bursa Uludağ University Faculty Education Teaching Undergraduate Program students) in terms gender, grade level and career goals. For purpose, data were collected from all 1st 4th year students studying at Bursa Education, Department Education. Individual Entrepreneurship Perception Scale (IEPS) a Personal Information Form used collect data. Mann Whitney U test analyze In line with findings obtained, it found that there no significant difference IEPS total subscale scores by gender. However, differences favor locus control, self-confidence self-discipline sub-scores, as well level. It concluded those aiming for non-teaching profession got significantly higher control than become teacher. Regarding these results, suggestions have been developed increase pre-service music teachers.
